Following Jesus (Luke 5:1-11)

Peter and others are no longer going to be catching fish, they are going to be catching men.  They will be actually rescuing men from death and saving them to life through the message of the gospel that they were being called to proclaim. Jesus Must Preach (Luke 4:31-44)

The exorcising of demons by His Word and the healing of the sick by His Word authenticated the message of salvation He was sent to proclaim.
 

The Ministry of Jesus (Luke 4:14-30)

 
The Gospel is inclusive rather than exclusive and should be indiscriminately proclaimed to the poor AND the rich, those in prison AND those who are free, the sick AND the physically healthy, the oppressed AND even the oppressor.

The Temptation (Luke 4:1-13)
