Work or Rest (Luke 6:1-11)

Jesus, our ultimate authority, alone determines how we can and should honor the Day that has been created for us. The rest He desires for us is a rest He desires us to experience with Him, and is a foretaste of what we will experience for eternity upon His return.
 

Feast or Fast (Luke 5:33-39)

We have and will fast joyfully not sorrowfully in light of the already, and with a hunger for the consummation of the kingdom in light of the not yet.  

Jesus Came Calling (Luke 5:12-32)

Jesus was both willing and able to restore the leper and He continues to be both willing and able to  restore anyone and everyone who will come to Him in faith and will trust Him alone for their salvation. 

Following Jesus (Luke 5:1-11)

Peter and others are no longer going to be catching fish, they are going to be catching men.  They will be actually rescuing men from death and saving them to life through the message of the gospel that they were being called to proclaim. (Due to weather, this was shared online and therefore shorter due to the circumstances of our meeting.  It was also re-recorded due to operator error.)

Jesus Must Preach (Luke 4:31-44)

The exorcising of demons by His Word and the healing of the sick by His Word authenticated the message of salvation He was sent to proclaim.
 

The Ministry of Jesus (Luke 4:14-30)

 
The Gospel is inclusive rather than exclusive and should be indiscriminately proclaimed to the poor AND the rich, those in prison AND those who are free, the sick AND the physically healthy, the oppressed AND even the oppressor.

The Temptation (Luke 4:1-13)
