Realizing Our Guilt (Leviticus 5:14-6:7)

Because of our sin, we are legally guilty and have incurred a debt we can't repay.  And God doesn’t simply write off our debt like an end of year loss.  Praise the Lord! Christ has paid it for us. 

Ignorance is Not Bliss (Leviticus 4:1-5:13)

There is no sin so small that it doesn’t need forgiveness.  But there is also no sin so great that it cannot be forgiven through the atoning and cleansing work of Jesus Christ. 

Peaceful Fellowship (Leviticus 3)

The peace of God is only possible for those who have experienced peace with God. And peace with God, while abundant and free, has come at a great price and is only available to those who will look to Christ.

The One Most Holy (Leviticus 2)

Now having access to God, we need to consider how we engage or fellowship with Him.  Worship is not a performance that is meant to entertain us, nor is it meant to simply be observed by us. 

And He Called (Leviticus 1)

Christ has secured our "life with God in the house of God" (Morales) both now and eternally!

Final Words (Galatians 6:11-18)

The true gospel is a proclamation of salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone that leads to boasting in the cross. The false gospel is a proclamation of salvation by faith and works that leads to boasting in ourselves.  Paul's call is to embrace the former and reject the latter.

Most people who attempt to fulfill the Law to merit and maintain their salvation have obviously not read the Law. Because if they had, they would know the purpose of the Law has never been to save.

The answer to idolatry and the treadmill of merit-based salvation is not looking to yourself and how much you know about and love God.  The answer is to understand God's inexhaustible knowledge of and immeasurable love for us that was exhibited in Christ.

Our True Identity (Galatians 3:25-4:7)

Salvation is indiscriminately offered and therefore creates an inclusive fellowship within the church that doesn’t have the barriers that divide the world. It creates a unity in the midst of diversity. Our identity in Christ supersedes any other possible identity we might possess or claim.
